EduFeArn is a leading EdTech publisher developing innovative and high-quality educational materials for schools and corporates in South Africa. We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a business development consultant. EduFeArn is looking for an experienced professional to identify opportunities in Corporate Social Investment and diversify revenue generation by securing funding from corporations involved or interested in educational development.


The formation of EduFeArn is to tackle the socio-economic problems facing South Africa. The critical focus is to develop solutions to resolve the dire educational system in crisis. EduFeArn envisions a society capable of competing in the global world of technology and equipped with the skills, attitudes and values needed to improve the quality of life for all South Africans.


Objectives / Responsibilities:

  • ï‚·Develop relationships with corporates to generate orders for our products and services through their CSI initiatives.

  • ï‚·Identify and contact potential customers in corporates, NGO’s, government and schools to secure procurement.

  • ï‚·Meet monthly sales targets and revenue goals.

  • ï‚·Participate in product development and contribute to social media and other marketing and promotional initiatives.

  • ï‚·Maintain customer relationships and provide feedback on existing solutions and services for product or service improvement.

  • ï‚·Gather critical market insights to inform CSI strategy and objectives.

  • Establish and maintain a database of corporate/companies and NGO’s.

  • ï‚·Proactively build and maintain relationships with an identified network of contacts.

  • ï‚·Establish a customer base.

  • ï‚·Identify opportunities for CSI collaboration and link projects and programmes to EduFeArn products and offerings.

  • ï‚·Prepare presentations and proposals.

  • ï‚·Promote and present our product and service offerings.

  • ï‚·Plan and roll out marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing department.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the CSI and education sector.

  • ï‚·Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline.

  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and revenue generation goals.

  • Passion for education and commitment to promoting our mission, vision and values.

  • Comprehensive understanding of Corporate Social Investment.

  • Excellent communication etiquette and people skills.

  • Project management experience a plus.

  • Ability to apply creativity and innovation to sales strategies.

  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Careful attention to detail.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.

  • Skills to develop PowerPoint presentations and draw up accurate and detailed reports.

  • Able to travel nationally.

  • Experience and ability to work with a CRM system.
